Our House

So playing catch up again, here we go...
These are just a few of the fun things going on at our house

Lucy the goose and Blacksburg the duck

The kids love it when Grandpa catches Lucy so they can pet her.

Clayton is thinking she is maybe okay enough to get close to

Duncan is an old pro- He's not nervous at all

The baby lambs. They make too much noise for my little man.

The term "deep crap" literally applies here. Remember those hip wader boots that we HAD to have for Christmas? Well, they are getting used now and he could not be happier.

He's just happy to be outside

The deeper the better as far as he is concerned- He was so excited to wear them!

And then we have more basketball:) The girls went out to Union, which is my parent's old home, to play their first round game. My Dad was the principal here until 1976-77. I had never been in the high school gym so it was fun to go there, especially since the girls won!

It was a great game and the kids played really well. The down side was, a horrible storm came in on Saturday and the roads were horrible to get out there on so coming home with a bus full of kids at 10 o'clock at night on snow packed roads was not going to happen. The team ended up staying the night in Roosevelt, which they were not planning on at all, and then ended up getting stuck in Heber the next morning waiting for the blasts of the avalanches in Provo Canyon! All in all, our Dad was very tired when he got home and the weekend turned out to be a LONG one. I rode out with one of the player's parents and we actually came home, very very slowly however but it was a long day for everyone :)

The boys were glad to have him home and all three of them were pooped right out on Sunday night.
