The month of November...

So we are still catching up from the fall here is our month of November!

A little hot tub action with all the cousins

Grandma's birthday

An early storm made for some fun on the 4-wheeler

Our crazy boys...

Clayton and Tootsie (our blind cat) - she likes to be loved and he likes to love her:)

Rad Kids Graduation

What a crew and what a great program! Duncan loved Rad Kids and had great instructors.

This is their favorite hair dresser... She has also been Duncan's girlfriend since he was 2!
They love Alexa:)

The week of Thanksgiving Grandma and Grandpa Pay took everyone to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert.
We walked up to the City Center for dinner afterwards. This is all the grandkids, except for one.

The weekend after Thanksgiving we always go Christmas Tree cutting.
We've invited Grandma and Grandpa Pay for years to come with us but this is the first time that they have come.
It is also the first time in 20 years that they have had a real tree!

Our munchkins! They love cutting the Christmas tree

US!
We love getting the tree each year and look forward to next year already:)
We love Christmas time.

Grandpa and Grandma Phillips
They are such good sports and go along with all the craziness every year.
We feel lucky that they will go with all of us and hope they are able to come for many more.

While we were Christmas shopping these two found these hats.
They told us we had to take a picture of them in these hats. What a pair....

We started basketball season, the boys love basketball season....

My boys... We stopped at the mall and couldn't resist a picture!

The boys and their dad

Then on to the Pinewood Derby!! This was his car.

This little man was happy to get to use Duncan's old car from when I was the Webelos Leader.

Our whole pack! Richard and I are the CubMasters in our ward so we got to plan the night and take care of all the races. All the boys had a great time and everyone was a winner at the end of the night.

He was so proud of his car! It was a pretty good one too.
He had the 3rd fastest car of the derby so he was pretty happy

waiting at the finish line

Grandma and Grandpa Pay

Grandma and Grandpa Phillips
and they are also his den leaders, lucky kid!

Then we moved on to Thanksgiving weekend.
This was our light parade float this year

We again had lots of fun and thanks to my sweet husband we had a beautiful float again.
We also brought home 1st place honors as the people's choice.
It is great community event and is lots of fun to share with the family.

The boys at the park

As part of the light parade they turn on the lights in town that night.
It is a tradition after we get done at the parade to head to One Man Band and
have dinner and then go walk through the Old Mill Park and the lights.

Duncan wanted to take a picture of us and he didn't do too bad

At the elementary school they have a creative arts contest in the fall.
Last year Duncan placed 3rd with his picture. This year he placed 2nd with his picture

He also.... played his mandolin for the entire school at the awards assembly as part of the performing arts contest!
Needless to say, his mom was proud. I played the guitar and accompanied him and I think I was more nervous for him than he was! He did a great job and is looking forward t next year! What a kid!

So there is our month of November! Stay tuned for December!!
