Anyway, we went to Virginia for the VT vs Marshall football game the first part of September. While we were there we also visited Jamestown. It is neat and hard to comprehend that our country, in essence actually began at that place and that people that shaped this country were there at one point in time. We also stopped at the plantation where the 1st Thanksgiving was at, which actually took place on my birthday none the less!! That was pretty neat. Apparently the President of the U.S. still flys in there every year on Thanksgiving Day in honor of the site and occasion that took place there. Any way it was a very fun trip. We also got to watch Taylor cheer at her H.S. football game and just hang out at Aunt Debbie's house and relax. Duncan loved the dogs and the Wii and enjoyed entertaining Aunt Debbie,Uncle Jim and Taylor. There are very few dull conversations when he is around. I think they enjoyed it though... they laughed alot and then there was the Hokie Bird- good heavens we got to meet and hug the Hokie Bird, Finally!! and be spoiled!! Imagine that, my kid spoiled.... ha ha
Thanks to Nichole and family, we all had a great time and Duncan had a wonderful time. He was so excited to just be at the game and see all the cheerleaders and the Hokie Bird and actually watch the game. He fit right in with all the fans and he chants just like them! "Let's Go Hokies!!" He was right by Nichole's side or holding her hand for most of the day. He is a Tech fan for sure and after he saw Nichole's bathroom at her apartment, he now thinks that his bathroom needs to be decorated in VT accessories.... just like hers of course. It was an awesome day. Lots of food, fun, friends and family. Oh yes, and lets not forget the cornhole game... Richard and I got our butts kicked- literally, by Debbie and Jim and Duncan just loved to play it! Thank you so much for a wonderful visit and lots fo fun!
We had a wonderful trip and hit the ground running when we got back home. School, the last soccer game, pumpkin season and life in general keep us busy. We hit the State Fair last weekend before it was over, (we LOVE the fair) and we also delivered Grandpa Bisel's yearly pumpkin.Duncan cuts one every year, all by himself that he picks out, just for Grandpa. It was fun to see him and he enjoyed seeing us too. Here are the pictures, lots of them so enjoy!!

His first day of Pre-school. He is getting so big....

And the next day, off we went to Virginia
